Excellent! Cover up the spelling mistake with a front panel for the jacks - it'll add stability to the sockets for long term use, and you'll never see the mistake! Win win!

I would have removed all the keys before replacing the sponge strip, so it could be applied with the keyboard the right way up and also prevent scuffing the keys as it looks like its layed keys down on a stone tile bench. Nice instructional video though.

For those interested, the notes expected by the Sherman [As stated in manual] is in the C4 octave. On the Cirklon, the note range sits in the C6 octave. You send two specific MIDI notes to block the ADSR and AR from being triggered by the audio, then you free to trigger it via MIDI alone! Tame the Beast!!

None of them sounded better than the original. Both distorted the original, each in their own way. That's all. My opinion is to bear with some of the troubles of the original, but listen to it rather than spend money and be dissatisfied with their 'correction'.
